This (writing about yourself) seems to be the most difficult thing to do.
First of, thanks for taking time to read this. I’m Antony Maria Joseph Peter (that is one heck of a long name!) yes i had no choice but to live with it. I like it though. My friends call me “Anto” and to my family and at work I’m “Joe”. I’m a Sr. User Interaction Designer at Software Company based in Sillicon Valley.
Domain: Back in 1999 when i was an intern at a company named DotCom infoway in which I eventually became an permanant employee in May 2000, I did few websites which my bose then “Mr. C.R.Venkatesh” liked it and asked me what i wanted in return of the work that i did. I answered “A domain would be great”. You know back then atleast in INDIA it was really pricey to buy a domain name (hell that was like 3 months salary that i was making then) so got this domain amjoe.com [short form for Iam Joe and Antony Maria Joseph].
The Story: Everyone wants to do something now and at the same time keeps postponing it for ever — I was no exception until early 2000 i never had the site designed and updated. As a web designer I wanted the site to be more jazzy and with heavy design. Nah not now - i love wordpress. These days I’m in to Web 2.0, you know those neat simple to use, clean sites… yes more CSS driven is what i love and do.
Student, Husbund & a Dad: I was a student at St.Joseph’s College back when i bought the domain, then i got married on the 14th Feb 2004 (yes on Valentines day) and on Oct 22nd 2005 i was promoted to be a DAD. (that feels good)
